For those who are “squeamish” about the Air Puff Tonometer, we have one of the most gentle (and still accurate!) Air Puffs available (Reichert CR7) and a new tonometer called the “iCare Tonometer” that many claim they cannot feel!!! Advanced Eyeglass Technology
Many of our patients feel they get more “wow” vision from our eyeglass lenses than anywhere else. We use not only the finest materials but the latest technology in making the finest precision eyeglass lenses. Our patients were one of the first in Orange County to receive eye protection against the controversial blue light emissions from our increasing usage of electronic devices such as computer monitors, cell phones, television, and tablets/iPads.
As an added bonus, we are prescribing special computer progressive lenses as a specialty item for those lifestyles that are heavily dependent on computers! Ask our doctors about our special computer progressives on your next eye exam! Onsite Optical Laboratory- For those in need of an emergency service, we have our own onsite optical laboratory that can provide emergency services (not for insurance labs) for most single vision, bifocals, and even progressive lenses to get you up and running!
Advanced Contact Lens Technology
We have been able to fit many of our patients who were told previously that they were “unfittable” contact lens candidates. These include many who have dry eyes, bifocal needs, high astigmatism, high nearsightedness, high farsightedness. We also fit the medically necessary contact lenses for keratoconus.
We use a lot of the new technology lenses including the hybrid half soft-half hard lenses, bifocal soft lenses, custom astigmatism lenses, scleral lenses, and more. If you really want contact lenses, give us a try.
Advanced Eyeglasses & Contact Lenses for Color Blindness
We have developed our version of the color blindness test to prescribe specific eyeglasses and contact lenses to help a majority of those diagnosed as “color-blind”. If you, or a loved one, have been diagnosed with “color blindness”, by all means, please come into our office to allow us to show you a couple of possible solutions for your color vision deficiency.
